1. Overview
This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds related to services and subscriptions provided through the CrewCaller India platform operated by Fractal Vision LLP.
2. Scope of Services
CrewCaller India is a professional networking and job discovery platform for the Indian film, television, and media industry. Our services include:
- Platform access and user account management
- Professional networking features
- Job discovery and application services
- Premium subscription features (if applicable)
- Featured listings and promotional services
3. Free Services
CrewCaller India currently operates primarily as a free platform. For free services:
- No payment is required for basic platform access
- Users may cancel their account at any time through the app settings
- No refunds are applicable as no charges are levied
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
4. Premium Services and Subscriptions (If Applicable)
4.1. Subscription Plans
If and when we introduce premium subscription plans or paid features, the following terms will apply:
- Subscription fees will be clearly displayed before purchase
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST
- Subscriptions may be billed monthly, quarterly, or annually as selected
- Auto-renewal terms will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase
4.2. Cancellation of Subscriptions
Users may cancel their subscription at any time:
- How to Cancel: Through the app settings under "Subscription Management" or by contacting support
- Effect of Cancellation: Access continues until the end of the current billing period
- No Partial Refunds: Cancellation does not entitle users to a refund for the remaining subscription period
- Auto-Renewal: Cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund the current period
4.3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
Eligible for Refund:
- Technical Issues: If the platform is inaccessible due to technical errors on our part for more than 72 consecutive hours
- Duplicate Charges: If you are charged twice for the same subscription period
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges are made without your authorization (subject to verification)
- Service Not Delivered: If premium features are not activated within 48 hours of payment
- Cooling-Off Period: Within 7 days of initial subscription purchase, if no premium features have been used (as per Consumer Protection Act, 2019)
Not Eligible for Refund:
- Change of mind after the 7-day cooling-off period
- Partial refunds for unused portion of subscription period
- Refunds for accounts suspended due to Terms of Service violations
- Refunds for one-time promotional or featured listing services once published
- Refunds requested after the subscription has expired
5. Refund Process
5.1. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email us at Connect@crewcallerindia.in with subject "Refund Request"
- Provide Details: Include your account email, transaction ID, date of payment, and reason for refund
- Documentation: Attach payment proof and any supporting evidence (screenshots, error messages, etc.)
- Wait for Review: Our team will review your request within 7 working days
5.2. Refund Timeline
- Review Period: 7-10 working days from receipt of refund request
- Approval Notification: You will be notified via email once your refund is approved or rejected
- Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 working days
- Credit to Account: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, wallet)
- Bank Processing: Additional 5-7 working days may be required for your bank to reflect the refund
5.3. Refund Method
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used
- For UPI payments: Refund to the linked bank account
- For card payments: Refund to the same card
- For net banking: Refund to the originating bank account
- For wallet payments: Refund to the same wallet
- Cash refunds are not provided
6. Featured Listings and Promotional Services
6.1. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are generally non-refundable once delivered:
- Featured job postings (once published)
- Profile boosting services (once activated)
- Sponsored content or advertisements (once live)
- Premium visibility packages (once campaign starts)
6.2. Exceptions
Refunds for promotional services may be considered if:
- The service was not delivered due to technical error on our part
- The service duration was significantly shorter than promised
- The platform was unavailable for the majority of the promotional period
7. Payment Gateway and Transaction Issues
7.1. Failed Transactions
- If payment is deducted but subscription is not activated, contact us immediately
- We will verify with our payment gateway (Razorpay) and resolve within 48 hours
- If payment was deducted erroneously, automatic refund will be initiated
7.2. Disputed Charges
- Report disputed charges within 30 days of transaction
- Provide transaction details and reason for dispute
- We will investigate and respond within 7 working days
8. GST and Tax Refunds
- Refund amount includes GST paid at the time of purchase
- GST invoices will be adjusted or cancelled accordingly
- Revised GST invoices will be provided for partial refunds (if applicable)
9. Account Termination by Company
- If your account is terminated due to violation of Terms of Service, no refund will be issued
- If termination is due to error on our part, a prorated refund may be provided
- Fraudulent activity will result in permanent ban and forfeiture of any paid services
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for refunds if service interruption is due to:
- Natural disasters, acts of God, war, terrorism
- Government orders, legal restrictions, or regulatory actions
- Internet service provider failures or network issues beyond our control
- Third-party platform outages (e.g., cloud hosting, payment gateways)
11. Modifications to This Policy
- We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time
- Changes will be notified via email and in-app notifications
- Continued use of services after policy changes constitutes acceptance
- Material changes will be effective 30 days after notification
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1. Internal Resolution
- First contact our support team to resolve refund disputes
- Escalate to our Grievance Officer if not resolved within 15 days
12.2. Legal Recourse
- Disputes unresolved internally may be escalated to consumer courts in Gurugram, Haryana
- This policy is governed by Indian laws including Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Arbitration clause as per our Terms of Service applies to refund disputes

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are protected:
- Right to fair and transparent cancellation terms
